About this game

Barbaria is a VR fighter/builder mashup. Attack other players, build defenses, and equip your team to become the most powerful in Barbaria!

Build, fight, collect

Use your fists, axes, swords, bows, stones, or anything else you can find to fight intense first-person combat. Throw enemies to allies to be dispatched, catch stones flying towards your head, light arrows before firing at enemies, or launch opponents into the air with traps. Then jump out of your immortal form and watch your minions continue to fight while you drop meteor showers from above. System combat, enemy AI, and player-created defenses make each battle unique.

Asynchronous multiplayer

But remember, you’re not Barbaria’s only demigod! Attack fields created by other players to increase your power and earn rewards when your team successfully fights off others. Watch miniature replays from your stronghold, then strategically place structures, champions, and minions to thwart future attackers.

Barbaria 1.2 – The Age of Expression

The age of retribution is over, and the age of expression begins! We’ve added 6 new structures, a new item type (Fragment Cap), and many new customization options so that you can expand your realm and make it unique.

What’s new:

* Appearance & Customization: Bring your heroes and minions to the customization station, choose alternate outfits, skin tones, and choose your taunts. Unlock new skins for your statues.

* Friendly Attack Replay: Carnage Carnival allows you to search for other players by name and attack their realm or playground in non-ranked mode. These attacks now generate notifications and send replays to the person you attacked.

* New item type: Shard Cap. Place a shard cap on an unused attachment point in your realm for additional shard placement possibilities.

* Taunt: Choose an animated taunt for your hero to perform during the replay notification after a successful attack.

* New Structures: Archery Boost, Melee Boost, Defense Boost, Speed Boost, Wall Destruction, Decoy.

* Equip the weapon to the champion’s left, right, or both hands

Improvements, Balance Changes and Fixes:
– 2 new reinforcement slots for a total of 4.
– Added auto-deployment reinforcement option (on by default) – Added “no turn” option for quest players who just want to physically turn – 10 minute limit for 4 block fields – Displays the influence radius around the structure in question – The maximum shard placement capacity per tile is set to 24 (max level + 2 feasts)
– Players can unlock 2 additional feasts, for a total of 4 – Fixed an issue where NPCs tended to ignore weapon racks – Fixed an issue where reinforcements respawned into the stands after they died
– Various bug fixes and improvements
