About this game
Experience the ultimate feeling of gliding in the sky!
Glider Sim is a professional paraglider and paramotor simulator built for real pilots and designed for realistic graphics! Simulations can be played outside of VR or within VR. We recommend playing the game in virtual reality as it offers the highest level of immersion!
The simulator takes place in Sun Valley, Idaho, USA. Landscapes are derived from real-world satellite imagery and overlaid with high-resolution textures, grasses, trees and wildflowers! Sceneries also include custom-placed roads, houses, buildings, power lines, soaring eagles, cruising airplanes, and more! We are working hard to create a beautiful living environment with many detailed landscape objects that you can discover as you fly and explore the map.
Much attention is given to the glider’s flight physics and wind and thermal systems. Set your launch point and flight conditions, and take off! Use wind currents like ridge lift and thermals to stay airborne, or throttle and cruise over detailed scenery if you use your Paramotor Trike. You can turn the wind visualization particle system on and off and change other flight conditions such as wind speed and direction.
Experience state-of-the-art flight physics, with physics modeled and applied to every unit of your glider!
You can perform maneuvers such as flanking, spiraling, stalling and diving, just be careful not to let your wings collapse! Don’t forget to share this experience with your fellow gliding enthusiasts, we look forward to hearing your feedback in the Community Center as we continue to develop!
