TykeAI is a Unity app for Meta Quest 3 mixed reality mode available for $3 on Patreon. I chose Patreon because the app incurs ongoing AI API call charges that I cover, so paying per subscription makes the most sense.

The app lets you talk to your AI companions, sit back and relax, or go for a walk. NPCs navigate your home using Unity AI navigation and Meta Scene Understanding (at least in the rooms you scan with Meta Space Setup), and it can avoid objects and sit down.

Or it can go for a walk outdoors with you. This mode doesn’t use Meta Scene or Unity AI Nav, so it doesn’t avoid obstacles, etc., but it follows you wherever you go. The maximum game space is large and borders must be disabled in this mode (note that you won’t get any annoying border warning messages). I’m not sure how far you can go, I’ve tested it on a big field and no problem, I didn’t run into any limitations.
