Shapelab Lite brings the basic functionality of the acclaimed Shapelab PCVR app to standalone VR at a more affordable price, finely tuned for devices with less processing power. Shapelab Lite is available in early access, allowing us to improve and enhance the app based on community feedback for optimal standalone VR performance.

Designed for immersive 3D sculpting, Shapelab provides an intuitive interface to freely shape ideas in 3D space with enhanced control. From basic forms to complex designs, Shapelab enables you to create detailed props, characters and digital concepts for apps, games and virtual worlds. VR sculpting creates a unique level of engagement, providing a faster workflow and greater accuracy.

Shapelab Lite is built on polygonal meshes and also includes dynamic topology that adjusts detail on the fly by subdividing or decimating polygons, adding flexibility where detail is needed. On standalone devices, users may notice performance limitations with frame rate drops of approximately 1.5 million polygons. To maintain performance, use low-resolution brushes to reduce polygon count, or use the Mesh Density tab to reduce the model.
