Hunt octopuses together…or turn into an octopus and fight with everyone!
OctoRaid VR is a cross-platform asymmetrical PvP VR based party game where you play as an Octo or Hunter character and fight each other.
If accessed through a VR device, you will play as the giant octopus monster Octo, and if accessed through other platforms (PC or mobile devices only), you will play as Hunter, a mall employee with a diver concept.
Each player who becomes part of Octo and Hunter’s team will battle it out in “OctoMall,” an 1980s American mall with neon lights, retro concepts, and an unusual underwater floor.
The arms of the octopus are giant tentacles. Press the VR controller’s
trigger button,
The tentacles can be extended toward the front of the controller. You can use the laser guidance and the X icon to see the limits of the tentacle stretch.
2. Tentacle movement:
Tentacle movement is a special ability of the octopus. It can use its tentacles to grab the neon light poles in the game to move its body. If the octopus can grab the neon light pole, the neon light pole will turn green. When you grab the post and pull your arm in the opposite direction to the desired direction, the octopus will move in the desired direction. (The neon pole turns red as it moves.) The octopus can move anywhere this way!
3. Tentacle Throwing:
You can grab and throw items through the octopus’s tentacles. Grab the surrounding props and click the trigger button again to throw them towards the front of the controller. Throw the prop and deal explosive damage to it, or grab the hunter yourself and throw him into the water!
