Amber of Jinn is a VR survival horror game developed by Stixor Technologies that is a nightmare from which you cannot escape. Every night you must contend with ghosts from pre-Islamic folklore without going crazy. Explore the postcolonial labyrinth and become a student of dream logic, or you will perish before you wake up.
In a deliberately neglected region of South Asia stands a once-splendid haveli, said to have been built by Persian descendants of Suleiman’s court. Over the years, the surrounding village turned into a town, and three children from the town went out to explore the haveli. Two of them disappeared and one became mute.
The grief-stricken family moved away and the town moved on; but for the sole survivor, he was taken to the Haveli every night in his sleep and forced to deal with horrific creatures whose stories were suppressed by dogmatists and pious alike.
Amber of Jinn is a VR horror experience designed to put you inside the horror stories you heard as a child and ask the question: what do you do when fairy tales are no longer fiction?
