“Angel’s Eye” is a cinematic reading experience rooted in the DNA of graphic novels. Angel’s Eye consists of 9 episodes, each 5 to 7 minutes long, offering a unique spatial reading experience that brings traditional comic art to life through surround sound and panel-based animation, offering a distinctive virtual reality experience.
Angel’s Eye centers on Janus, an assassin with unparalleled skills, but he himself is also assassinated. While waiting in purgatory, Janus received invitations from two angels, Sandorphine and Samuel, asking Janus to help maintain the lasting balance between the forces of heaven and hell. Janus finds himself back on earth and serving heaven, applying his skills to his work, but things are not as they seem. A mysterious young woman, Mara, intervenes in the legal proceedings, and the two find themselves rushing toward an apocalyptic future. As agents from heaven and hell clash and the tribe rises, humanity’s future rests at the finger of a deceased assassin pulling the trigger.
