A fantasy universe full of magic, the work is produced by Walt Disney Animation Studios and features the voice of famous actor Evan Rachel Wood (“Frozen 2”, “Westworld”, etc.). On this immersive journey, you will experience the legend of Arendelle that blends traditional hand-drawn animation with the latest virtual reality technology.

This new short, directed by Jeff Gipson, director of Disney’s animated VR short “Cycles,” takes the form of a bedtime fairy tale and allows you to fully immerse yourself in the sights and sounds of “Frozen 2.” An ordinary night in an Arendelle-like family begins to turn into an extraordinary adventure. Among them, elemental spirits such as water, fire, wind and earth will appear through a whirlpool of two-dimensional hand-painted effects, three-dimensional animation and original music.

Myth originally debuted at the world premiere of Frozen 2 and screened at the Sundance Film Festival earlier this year. The work was later nominated for Outstanding Visual Effects in the Visual Effects Society’s Real-Time Projects. Now, users around the world can experience this new film at home through Oculus Quest.
