About this game:
As players jump into one of 32 different mech types and head to the battlefield, World of Mechs will feature both single-player and multiplayer models, with matches featuring eight players and two teams of four. When online, you’ll face off in an arena-style map, with five levels to choose from at launch, with four different modes (Team Deathmatch, Domination, Assault, and VIP). Each mech has unique abilities, including stealth devices and powerful melee attacks.
Meanwhile, the single-player mode has 20 missions where you’ll see you take on bosses and then claim their mechs for yourself.
The game joins a growing list of VR mechanical games. Just recently, we saw the full version of Vox Machinae, and earlier today, Resolution Games debuted its Rocket League-like esports Ultimechs. Even MechWarrior 5, the latest addition to the MechWarrior franchise, has received unofficial support through mods. We will find out exactly where the game will be in the scene when Quest 2 comes in the near future. No other platforms have been confirmed at this time.
